The Silver Lining is the final piece in the 'There is Beauty in the Battle' collection. The Silver Lining is an original acrylic on canvas, layered with beautiful texture and adorned with silver leaf foiling. It is a reminder to look for the good and find hope in a world gone bad.
And it pretty much sums up 2020 so far....probably one of the worst years for most people, and we are only half way through. But...there is a silver lining:
We have all had the space to think and reflect,
We have been reminded just how precious our time and life is,
Some of us have finally been able to spend more time with family,
And we are finding new ways of working that allow us to do more of the latter,
We have worked together to put out fires where we find them,
We are more willing to listen and to stand up for one another when we see injustice,
We are banding together and building a stronger community,
We are learning and adapting, to better ourselves and our future generations.
We will find our silver lining.
