SHIPPING POLICY

PROCESSING & SHIPPING TIME

Please kindly allow up to 2 business days for me to process your order. If required, I will be arranging a quote for shipping and will get back to you as soon as possible with an estimated delivery time and invoice for shipping to your desired destination.

Once you have finalised payment for the artwork and shipping…                                                                                            

  • Original Artwork: I will have your precious original artwork packed and sent! Please allow an additional 3 days for your item to be dispatched.  

  • Prints and Reproductions: My prints are custom made by a fine art printer in Perth and are produced on demand. Please allow up 5-10 days for the prints to be produced and dispatched.

  • Shipping Time: As a guide, it can take approximately 2 - 8 business days for delivery to metro areas in Australia or approximately 20 business days for delivery to regional areas. International orders will have longer delivery times and vary by destination.

  • Dispatch: Once the artwork has been dispatched I will send you a tracking number and link for you to keep track of your order.

 

Please note that the postal services have been delayed due social distancing restrictions and border and regional closures from the Covid-19 virus. This is a very difficult time for everyone. We ask for your consideration when dealing with shipping delays.

URGENT ORDERS

If you need something sent urgently, please contact me. I will try my absolute best to see what can be done for you and arrange express postage.

If you are looking to purchase an artwork piece for a gift, I generally encourage planning at least 2 months in advance if you are thinking of purchasing a print. This will allow for greater peace of mind for both of us and will help in getting your artwork to you in time and allow for any unexpected shipping or printing delays!

TRACKING AND INSURANCE

All artwork is sent with delivery tracking, postage insurance and require signature on delivery. A tracking number and link will be provided once your order has been dispatched. If the tracking for your order is invalid or empty, please contact info@lnart.studio and I will follow it up as soon as possible. Please note your parcel will be left at your local post office if there is no one available to accept the delivery. Should you at any stage opt to grant the authority to the courier or postal service to deliver and leave your package unattended and without signature, you are agreeing to release the courier from all responsibility and liability for your order. Neither I or the courier will be held responsible or be able to assist with what happens to your package. You are solely responsible for ensuring that the shipping address provided to us is correct. 

CAN YOU DELIVER TO A PO BOX ?

Please note that we cannot ship to a PO box address. 

​WHERE IS THE ARTWORK SHIPPED FROM?

I am based in Australia. All original artwork will be distributed from Morley, Western Australia 6062 by Australia Post or a suitable courier service, available on the day.  Prints ordered from within Australia may be distributed directly from the printing house.

HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST?

Shipping and handling costs are calculated based on weight, measurements, distance of travel, postage insurance and the labour and material required for packaging the item. 

FREE SHIPPING WITHIN AUSTRALIA

Unless otherwise listed, we offer free standard shipping for all our Aussie customers. :) 

If you require shipping urgently, please contact me and I will do my best to arrange express shipping for you at an additional cost.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

​Do you ship outside Australia?
Yes! We are able to ship to many locations around the world. ​Shipping and handling costs are calculated based on weight or how much physical space the package takes up (whichever is greater), distance of travel and the labour and material required for packaging the item.

 

Depending on the size of the product, a minimum shipping fee of $35 - $100 will be applied at checkout. Once I have your shipping address, I will arrange for an exact quote and invoice you any additional shipping funds required, or refund  you any surplus.  

 

Alternatively, you are welcome to contact me prior to purchase to let me know what piece you are interested in and where you would like it shipped. I will arrange a quote from a courier and get back to you as soon as I can with the postage costs and delivery times specific to your location so you can make an informed purchase.

 

Are there any duties and taxes?

All products sent overseas may incur duties, taxes, and other charges to be paid by the customer upon their order arriving into the destination country. These charges vary depending on the shipping destination. Please make sure you check with the relevant customs so you are aware of any charges that may be added to your order. These charges are not included in your order and you will be required to pay them. They are applied by the government of the country you are importing the product into. Some examples of fees you may be charged by customs for importing an item include: GST, LEVIES, DUTIES, CUSTOMS, STORAGE, ENTRY, INSPECTION, ADMINISTRATION.

HOW WILL MY ARTWORK BE PACKAGED AND SHIPPED?

ORIGINALS

Original art may be sent fully stretched in a box or unstretched (taken off the wooden frame) and sent rolled in a tube, depending on the artwork and your preference.

Textured art with a heavily built-up surface must be sent fully stretched. Any bending of the paper or canvas can cause the paint to crack and break, as such rolling and un-stretching the artwork is not possible. For this reason, textured artworks will be sent fully stretched.

 

Any original art sent fully stretched will be wrapped in brown paper or tissue paper, padded with bubble wrap or eco wrap, placed between sheets of cardboard and sent in a fitted, thick cardboard box. Most work will be shipped by a courier service such as StarTrack or Australia Post and will be sent with insurance, tracking and Signature on Delivery required.

Artwork with a flatter, less textured surface may be sent unstretched and rolled between paper and bubble wrap in a tube. This is particularly more cost effective for shipping and the standard way for larger artworks to travel. The money you save on shipping will also more than cover the cost of you arranging the artwork to be stretched by a framer.

If your preference is to have your artwork shipped fully stretched – please let me know when you purchase the artwork or contact me for a quote prior to purchase.

PRINTS

Most work will be shipped by Australia Post or a suitable courier service available on the day. They will be sent with insurance, tracking and Signature on Delivery required.

Canvas Prints

Canvas prints will be delivered unstretched, rolled carefully between paper and bubble wrap padding and sent to you in a sturdy cardboard tube. You may then take the artwork to your preferred framer to build the support bars, stretch the canvas and select your desired frame at your own cost.

The cost for stretching may range from $50 for a small painting to $250 for an extra-large painting, depending on size and location and is at the discretion of your framer.  

Paper Prints

All paper prints are handled with the utmost care’ packaged beautifully in paper or a plastic sleeve and will arrive unmounted. Prints that are A3 or smaller will be mailed flat, in a rigid mailer to minimise unnecessary bending. Larger prints will usually be rolled safely between paper and padding and shipped to you in a sturdy carboard tube.

You may then take the artwork to your preferred framer to have it mounted and framed at your own cost.
